Entries for month: August 2008

Delmarva Bike Week has rolled around, and Independent Tattoo will be there at the new location in Winter Place Park to commemorate our "end of summer" finale with an all-star line up of guest artists, some pudding wrestling, tattoo contests and general non-stop decadence.

Kurstin Hanback, our coffee maker/counter girl (smart ass) has returned to the Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) where she'll be freezing later on this winter. She intends to study furniture design but if she doesn't start sketching soon she'll have issues. (haha..)
Hunter Spanks, tattoo artist extrordinair, from Saints and Sinners in Baltimore MD was here visiting last week. If you didn't get a chance to see him in the studio you should really check out his fantastic work. You can find him on myspace.
If you missed Bruce Gulick last week that's a shame because he's a great artist and an intellectual to boot. He'll be coming back to visit throughout the year so keep checking this blog for updates.
Former Independent Tattoo artist Marc Womer has been visiting us for the past week. A few years ago Marc moved out to San Diego. He'll be in the studio through Saturday this week so if you want to say, "HI" you better get up here tomorrow.
